The Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet has been available in Canada since May, launching in the same period as its Xperia Z2 sibling. The device was heralded as one of the slimmest Android tablets on the market, coming in at a mere 6.4mm thick. Those not satisfied with the WiFi model will be thrilled to know that Bell is on tap to exclusively launch the LTE-enabled Xperia Z2 Tablet on August 7th. According to an internal document, the no-term price is set at $649.95 for the 16GB model.
As for specs, the Xperia Z2 Tablet run Android 4.4 KitKat and has a 10.1-inch 1920×1200 pixel display with Live Colour LED technology. Under the hood is a 2.3Ghz quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor, 3GB of RAM, an 8MP rear camera with an Exmor RS sensor, a 6000mAh battery, it weighs in at 439 grams, and is “the slimmest and lightest waterproof LTE tablet.”
