Apple launches Reuse and Recycling program in Canadian Apple Stores

Apple has launched a new program in Canada that the company debuted last year in the US and several other countries. Encouraging users to recycle their old iPhones, the company is offering up to $275 for the latest-generation device which can be used towards a new iPhone activation.

The offer is open to both business and individual customers, and is valid for those with working iPhones as far back as the 3G.

While many people with working iPhones would be able to get more money on the used device market, the R&R program is a great way for the average user to earn a few dollars towards another device — one they’d likely buy anyway — and recycle their old phone in a responsible manner.
