Google has partnered with former Superman and The Witcher star Henry Cavill to create a video game using Googlebook. The collaboration is intended to promote the new Android-powered laptop line that’s designed specifically for Google Intelligence.
Google didn’t provide any details on what this game will actually be, but presumably, it will involve at least some AI use given the Googlebook’s focus on the technology. In a blog post, Google mentioned that Cavill was approached because of his well-documented love of both video games and PCs. (It’s worth noting that he’s also been a fan of Google phones going back at least until the Pixel 2.)
“After being hands on and spending some time with their team, I believe this has the potential to be the start of something rather special,” said Cavill in a statement to Google. “Time and technology are marching forward at a breakneck pace, this, and all that Google are trying to do with it, has the whispers of the next generation.”
Google says Cavill’s game will be revealed in November. For now, the company says to stay tuned to this dedicated website for updates.
