Rogers-owned Breakfast Television, City TV’s daily morning show, has released an iOS app that works as both a companion to the live content and as catch-up for those who missed the broadcast. It even lets you watch the show live if you’re not in front of a TV.
While the company’s City Video app facilitates live streaming other Rogers shows, BT’s iPhone app offers clips of relevant material, events from around the city, ongoing contests, daily weather, and even an alarm clock to ensure you wake up on time.
It has a clean blue-and-white design, and finds a good balance between corporate branding and accessibility. Considering BT is one of Rogers’ most popular shows, it makes sense to see this app on the iPhone first. It will also be rolling out to Android devices in the coming weeks.
