TELUS made it official today and announced that both Sydney, NS and Conception Bay, NL have LTE speeds. The network, according to their press release, reaches 24 million Canadians and “now covers more than 70 per cent of the Canadian population across approximately 170 markets.” As previously reported, some customers in Sydney have been receiving LTE speeds between 27 Mbps download and 20 Mbps upload – TELUS’ advertised average is between 12 to 25 Mbps.
