ScoreMobile has released a sports coverage app specifically designed for the Nexus 7 and other Android tablets. Unlike the ScoreMobile app designed for smartphones, the tablet app uses the screen’s extra room to add a permanent navigation bar on the side as well as more comprehensive coverage of each sport.
Following sports like baseball, basketball, football, golf, tennis and more, ScoreMobile tablet shows scores, standings and news reports, with optional video footage where available. The app can also be used as a TV companion, “including play-by-play analysis, interactive Live Blogs and Twitter streams of key games.”
Ironically, the Olympics feature opens to an external browser, but that’s likely because The Score has a very nicely-formatted web portal for the Olympics.
If you’re interested in checking out ScoreMobile Tablet, head on over to Google Play.
