Facebook is almost at a billion active monthly users, according to its first quarterly earnings results as a public company.
The company earned $1.18 billion in revenue, $992 million of which was attributable to advertising. The company inched above analysts expectations to earn $0.12/share.
Incredibly, the company has 955 million monthly active users, and 543 million monthly active mobile users. 552 million people log onto Facebook every day. Wow.
Facebook’s share price dipped below $25 for the first time since it became a public company, and the share is off 15% for the day.
