The new Windows Phone 7 Marketplace is chugging along very nicely. It was only a couple weeks ago that Microsoft officially stated they crossed the milestone of 5,000 apps… and now they are coasting past 6,000. According to WP7AppList the Marketplace receives an average of 116 new apps each day that cost an average price of $2.34. Of those apps 71% are paid and 29% are free. Games leads the category list with 23%, then tools with 14% and Entertainment with 11%. One more graph after the break
