New area codes are flying off the shelves! To keep up with the “continuously growing demand for new telephone numbers” the CRTC announced that effective May 17th, 2010 a new 343 area code will be added to the 613 eastern Ontario region. The 613 & 343 area code covers eastern Ontario locations that include Ottawa, Kingston, Belleville, Brockville, Cornwall and Bancroft.
