Google Pixel 9 Pro now available in Canada — here’s how much it costs

If you've been waiting for a small, pro Pixel, it's finally here.

Google’s Pixel 9 Pro is finally available to buy in Canada.

When Google launched its new Pixel line in August, the focus was on the Pixel 9 and 9 Pro XL, which landed on store shelves on August 22nd. The Pixel 9 Pro Fold arrived in September, along with the Pixel Watch 3 and Buds Pro 2. And now, finally, the Pixel 9 Pro is here.

If you’ve been eyeing the Pixel 9 Pro XL but wanted something a bit smaller (like me), then the 9 Pro is for you. You can buy it now from the Google Store as well as at Best Buy. Check out the pricing below, and if you want to know how much it’ll cost at Canadian carriers, keep on reading.

  • Pixel 9 Pro 128GB – $1,349 (Porcelain, Hazel, Obsidian)
  • Pixel 9 Pro 256GB – $1,479 (Porcelain, Rose Quartz, Hazel, Obsidian)
  • Pixel 9 Pro 512GB – $1,649 (Hazel, Obsidian)

There isn’t a huge difference between the Pixel 9 Pro and and 9 Pro XL beyond the size (and elements associated with that). For example, the 9 Pro sports a 6.3-inch display compared to the 6.7-inch 9 Pro XL display. But aside from a difference in resolution (1,344 x 2,992 for the XL vs 1,280 x 2,856 on the Pro), the specs are pretty much the same: up to 3,000 nits peak brightness, 1-120Hz variable refresh rate, LTPO display.

Such is the case across the board with the 9 Pro and Pro XL, including 16GB of RAM, Tensor G4, and the same camera setup with a 50-megapixel main camera, 48-megapixel ultrawide and 48-megapixel telephoto camera.
