Razer Phone leak reveals 4,000mAh battery and 120Hz refresh rate display

Razer phone leak

Razer’s upcoming premium smartphone has leaked courtesy of an affiliate of the U.K. carrier Three, revealing some pretty impressive specs and familiar design.

The handset, which marks the gaming hardware company’s entry into the crowded smartphone market, bears a strong resemblance to the devices once made by Nextbit, which was acquired by Razer earlier this year. This backs up a previous leak, which shows the rear of the phone in finer detail.

According to the listing, which also featured a poor-quality image of the phone, the aptly-named Razer Phone features a 5.72-inch IGZO display with a 120Hz refresh rate and Wide Colour Gamut.

It also promises a 4,000mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 4+, 8GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage, THX-certified dual front speakers with Dolby ATMOS and a dual camera setup featuring one 12-megapixel, f/1.75 shooter and 13-megapixel f/2.6 zoom sensor.

While there was no more information available about the device on the Three affiliate’s website, A previous appearance on GFXBench indicates the handset will likely have a 1440p display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset and run Android 7.1.1 Nougat.

Razer says its “biggest unveiling” — which will no doubt include the Razer Phone — will take place November 1st at 4pm EST.
