Along with every episode of season 2 of Netflix’s Stranger Things, a new seven-part aftershow called Beyond Stranger Things, featuring interviews with the show’s cast, creators and director is set to stream following each episode.
Netflix confirmed that the new aftershow will be hosted by Jim Rash, who’s most known for his role on Community, and that the series will feature a rolling panel of experts examining each episode.
According to Netflix, Beyond Stranger Things “tackles inspiration for the series, behind-the-scenes stories, and analyzes every aspect of the second season — answering all the burning questions.” The streaming platform also recommends that viewers watch the entire nine episode second season of Stranger Things before delving into the series’ seven episode aftershow.
A preview of Beyond Stranger Things features Millie Bobby Brown (Eleven), Finn Wolfhard (Mike Wheeler), executive producer and director Shawn Levy, and creators Matt and Ross Duffer. Other cast members set to make guest appearences include Sean Astin, David Harbour, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Noah Schnapp and Dacre Montgomery.
Beyond Stranger Things is set to stream on Oct 27 alongside the eagerly anticipated second season of Stranger Things.
