One of BlackBerry’s next phones has just found its way online. Internally known within the walls of the company as “Oslo,” this device previously leaked online in both the physical device and a press rendering. The latest news on this upcoming BlackBerry smartphone brings its pending announcement one step closer.
According to several certification listings, the BlackBerry Dallas has been approved for use on carriers in Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia. The model number is SQW100-4 and this Passport-inspired device could be unveiled in the coming weeks.
Unfortunately, the specs were not listed but previous rumours pointed towards the Dallas sporting a similar 4.5-inch display as the Passport, a 2.2GHz Snapdragon processor, 13MP and 2MP rear and front-facing cameras, 3GB of RAM and a 3450 mAh battery.
The Dallas is expected to be released in Asia, Europe, the Middle East and Africa. But most BlackBerry enthusiasts are interested in the BlackBerry Venice, which has been tipped to run Android.
