Nokia has released a mini-documentary on the making of the PureView 808. This is the smartphone that has a 41MP camera. According to the 8-minute video the idea came about “in a bar in Tokyo” to have a device that has improved the “zooming capabilities in camera phones without sacrificing the image quality.” In total it took 5 years to go from concept to completion with 400 behind it. The video gives a good overview and does create a bit more hype on the 808 PureView. There’s no word yet if this device will be coming to Canada, but at the very least it’ll be entertaining to watch.
