Sears wouldn’t normally be my first place to shop for clothes, household items, etc… but they recently launched an iPhone and Android app that certainly makes it easier to buy things – which is a great step in the right direction for mobile shopping.
The app is free, available in English and French, and gives you the option to receive daily deals, view the latest flyers, offers and search for products by category (Women, Appliances, Furniture, Kids, Shoes, Electronics, more). If you do decide to purchase something you’ll have to enter your email address, contact info for shipping and Sears account, or sign is as a guest, then check out. Pretty simple transaction process. The app also has a store locator and the option to connect with Sears via various social networking sites (Twitter, Facebook, YouTube).
