iPad 3 rumoured to be announced and available this March

Several fresh rumours of Apple’s next iPad have surfaced this week. First, BGR posted some pics online that showed info from a debugging software called iBoot that indicated two model numbers, J1 and J2 (iPad3,1 and iPad3,2). This, as previous rumoured and also expected, means we could presumably see a Wi-Fi and a 4G version, possibly LTE. In addition, the pics also showed that Apple will be using a new A6 processor – earlier reports revealed that the next-gen iPad will have a quad-core processor.

Next up is a report from Japanese blog Macotakara. They are going on record that Apple will be holding a “strange” media event in February. Apparently it’s strange because “the February event would not be a product event” – then following it up with the iPad 3 announcement and launch in March. Finally, for those who love the extreme. A couple new book titles have found space on the Amazon European site: translated into English the titles are iPad 3 for Dummies and iPad 3 on the Fly.

Who’s excited to see the new iPad? Will it change everything?
