xTool has announced the xTool C1 Color Cutter, designed for DIY enthusiasts and experienced crafters. The C1 combines a scanner, full-colour printer, and precision blade cutter in one machine. Meaning you don’t need more than one machine for different creations.
With the Contact Image Sensor (CIS), the C1 can scan materials placed on a cutting bed and see a 1:1 live preview directly in the software interface. The scanner also supports auto-contour extraction, automated nesting, and instant parameter setup via a QR code on official materials.
The C1 runs on the Atomm AI platform, which can turn text prompts or images into easier-to-cut vectors. Other features include one-click background removal, artistic text generation, image-to-line-art conversion, and even a 3D papercraft template generator. Though you’ll need a subscription.
Additionally, the C1 supports tool attachments including fine-point, deep-point, rotary and 3mm cutting blades.
The xTool C1 starts at US$469 (C$658) and begins shipping globally on November 5.
