HootSuite has just passed another milestone as they’ve announced their 3 millionth user. The Vancouver-based company Invoke media launched their social media dashboard in 2008, but stated it only took 6 months to reach the last million users. It previously took them 24 months to reach the first million, then another 8 months to reach the two million mark.
To celebrate this achievement another infographic has been created showing the top countries and how people are using HootSuite. HootSuite users by country: (1) USA, (2) Japan, (3) UK, (4) Canada, (5) Brazil, (6) Indonesia, (7) Netherlands, (8) Spain, (9) Mexico, and (10) Australia.
HootSuite Daily Usage by platform: Web has 80%, followed by mobile with 20%. Breaking down the mobile usage by device: iPhone (57%), Android (26%), BlackBerry (3%), iPad (14%). 1.5 million messages are send everyday, with 700 million messages sent to date.
