Future Shop press release says Koodo and Fido will release the Nexus S

The Nexus S is a “pure Google” experience and will be coming to Canada soon. The word on the street is that it’ll be available the first week of April through several carriers: TELUS, Bell, Rogers, Videotron, WIND and Mobilicity have all in one way or another confirmed this will be available to their customers.

We got our hands on an upcoming press release for the Nexus S, specifically from Future Shop. Loaded in the release is confirmation that the Nexus S is “available early April” and that pre-orders start on Monday, March 21st.  In addition, Future Shop brings stellar news that both Koodo Mobile and Fido will be releasing the Android device. Those two flanker brands just received the jolt they needed to liven up their lineup! Here’s the full release:

Available at all 146 Future Shop locations and www.futureshop.ca early April, the latest innovation by Samsung offers the Canadian debut of the Pure Google Android 2.3 “Gingerbread” operating system, 1 GHz Hummingbird processor, the world’s first 4″ brilliant contour display, and much more.

The Nexus S from Google will be available at Future Shop on the Bell, Fido, Koodo, Rogers and Telus networks at launch*. Pricing will be available early April.
