A quick stop by the Motorola booth during the CTIA event in San Diego found me playing around with the upcoming Motorola CLIQ. This is their first Android-powered device and although there are no official plans for this to come to Canada, we are hearing a January/February 2010 launch (not confirmed).
The CLIQ operates on Motorola’s custom version of Android called MOTOBLUR which combines all your Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, Gmail and syncs your work contacts, email and calendar together.
My first impression is that this will revive Motorola and make them cool again. The CLIQ looks nice and is incredibly fast. Quick specs: side slide-out full QWERTY keyboard that has a 3.1-inch HVGA touch screen (320×480 resolution), overall dimension are 4.49 x 2.28 x 0.62 inches and weighs in at 163 grams, 3.5mm headphone jack, 5 megapixel auto-focus camera (with video capabilities) but no flash, can hold up to Supports 32GB with a microSD card and can do all your e-mails, contacts, Facebook etc…
