The Much Music Video Awards are in full swing this weekend and Nokia also held a sneak peek for the upcoming Nokia 5800 XpressMusic.
I got to handle this for a few minutes and work my way though it. First, it feels really great in the hand and has this beveled look to it that screams to be held. Next, this is meant to crank out your music as the speakers are impressive. The 5800 has a 3.2 inch touchscreen and is incredibly easy to navigate your way around. In addition, this also has an accelerometer that makes it easy to type your e-mails/messages with. At launch (very soon) they will include an 8GB microSD and can hold up to 16GB. With the short time I got to play with this I was impressed with the 3.2 megapixel Carl-Zeiss camera (has a dual-LED flash). Viewing images on are easy and show up great… you can use the screen to scroll through to the next image. I didn’t take a video but when we do our full review will report back.
Surfing the web was decent, nothing to spectacular but with the touchscreen it makes it easier to get to the places you want. From the few sites I initially visited the 5800 loads and renders web pages well. Over the next week we will report back with a full review:
