mtsstore
As promised, MTS has flipped the LTE switch on for those in Selkirk, Manitoba. The region is only home to approximately 10,000 people, but the more LTE coverage the better! MTS launched their LTE network earlier this year in both Winnipeg and Brandon. Now with Selkirk live they reach approximately 60% of the population. Next is also currently live in Winnipeg, Brandon, Victoria Beach, Grand Beach, Portage la Prairie. Next up will be Steinbach and Ste. Anne “later this year.”

MTS and Rogers recently signed an “extended network sharing agreement” that will see both carriers share costs and expand LTE coverage to reach over 90% Manitoba’s population over the next five years.
