Rumours began circulating about Lyft’s potential launch in its first market outside of the U.S. earlier this year.
It wasn’t until October 2017, however, that the rumours were confirmed and Lyft formally announced that it would be launching in Canada before the end of 2017.
Canadians have been able to download the Lyft app since before Lyft’s formal announcement. Since then, drivers have been able to begin the sign-up process to formally drive for Lyft.
MobileSyrup has reached out to Lyft for comment on tomorrow’s Toronto launch, and this story will be updated with a response.
Lyft is free-to-download on both Android and iOS.
