The long road for Shaw to launch their wireless service could possibly ending. Originally pegged with a late 2010 date, then unfortunately delayed a couple times. Last we heard was in late June from CEO Brad Shaw when he stated that “We’ll soon make an announcement, I think, over the next month”. It’s been over a month and there are several rumours of a partnership of sorts with other carriers.
A new report in Cartt states that Shaw is still moving forward with their wireless plans, whatever they are. Brad Shaw sent them a note that “We are on track to make announcement the end of summer… The kids’ end”… so we all can expect something official around Labour Day (September 5th).
