Google refreshes Gemini with Neural Expressive design, unveils Daily Brief

Neural Expressive is available on Android, iOS and web today

Google has refreshed the Gemini experience, introducing a new design called Neural Expressive. Neural Expressive has new fluid animations, vibrant colours, typography and haptic feedback.

And Gemini Live’s conversational experience is now available directly in Gemini. Users can now switch from typing a question to diving deep into a free-flowing conversation and then back to typing. The tech giant also says that it has re-engineered the mic, allowing you to tap and talk through complex ideas at your own pace without getting cut off.

This update is available on Android, iOS and web today.

Google is also launching a new feature called Daily Brief. For the Daily Brief, Gemini is working in the background, going through your Gmail inbox, upcoming events in your calendar, and compiling all the most relevant details into a quick briefing.

It also organizes and prioritizes what you’re doing based on your specific goals, and if you don’t like its suggestions, give it a thumbs down, and it’ll learn over time.

Daily Brief is rolling out today to Google AI Plus, Pro and Ultra subscribers starting in the U.S.
