Google is introducing Veo 3 and Imagen 4 at IO this year. Additionally, the Search company is using this technology to launch Flow, an AI filmmaking tool that lets you create cinematic clips, scenes and stories by using natural language.
Starting with Veo 3, Google lets you use text and image prompts to create videos with audio. Veo 3 can include dialogue between characters, background noises with real-world physics and accurate lip syncing.
With Imagen 4, you create images with fine details like fabrics, water droplets, and animal fur, and you can combine them with words to make greeting cards or comics.
Flow combines Veo 3 and Imagen 4 alongside AI, letting users make short films by using natural language to describe their shots. You can include information like cast, locations, objects, and styles, and Flow can weave all of this into one video.
Flow is available for Google AI Pro and Ultra plan subscribers in the U.S., with more countries coming soon.
