Freedom Mobile added a $10/mo discount for six months to some of its plans, ramping up Boxing Week offers.
The company’s $45/75GB and $55/100GB plans now cost $35 and $45 for the first six months after the $10/mo bring-your-own-phone (BYOP) credit.
While it’s a bummer that the credit only lasts six months, it makes Freedom’s already high-value plans even better for BYOP customers. Plus, nothing else has changed with the plans, which means you still get 5G data, unlimited calling, texting and data in Canada, the U.S. and Mexico, plus bonus Roam Beyond data for travel to other countries.

Unfortunately, these plans also still have Freedom’s three-month restriction. That means if you sign up for one of these plans, you have to keep it for at least three months. Freedom will charge customers a $30 fee if they change to another plan within three months of activating a plan with Roam Beyond data.
