Google has announced its first ever Canadian pop-up shop at Toronto’s Drake General Store.
The hardware shop will sell Google Pixel 2 smartphones, Google Home and Google Home Mini smart speakers, Pixel Buds, Daydream View VR headsets and a variety of customizable smartphone cases.
“Our store’s ethos shares a lot in common with Google: we’re playful, innovative, community-oriented and delightfully Canadian,” says Carlo Colacci, co-founder of Drake General Store in a statement sent to MobileSyrup. “We’re thrilled Canadians can physically immerse themselves in the Made by Google world at our store.”
Store visitors will get the opportunity to go hands-on with the tech in an interactive environment, alongside Google Assistant queries hidden throughout the store.
The store opens May 16th and is located at 1151 Queen St. West.
