On Friday, December 1st at 8pm ET, Canadian music legend Neil Young, with a bit of help from Facebook and CTV, will stream a special performance.
Set to come from a “Canadian hometown stage,” the performance will be streamed in Canada on CTV.ca and around the world on Facebook.
On that same day, the singer-songwriter will also launch the Neil Young Archives (NYA). According to Young, NYA will be a comprehensive streaming archive of his life’s work. It will include clips like the one below from his legendary 1971 performance at Massey Hall in Toronto. At launch, access to NYA will be free.
If all of that wasn’t enough, Young will also release The Visitor, his newest album, on December 1st as well.
