BlackBerry will be releasing BBM v2.0 in the ‘coming weeks.’ The Waterloo-based company recently listed a number of exciting enhancements coming to all versions (BlackBerry, iPhone and Android).
While we wait, BlackBerry has pushed out a new update for iPhone and Android users that sees the new “Find Friends” feature. This, as expected, helps you find friends by showing you who else is using BBM, plus gives you the option to easily invite new friends to your BBM contact list.
Total BBM usage on all platforms is hovering around the 100 million mark and this could help give it a boost up downloads.
