Qualcomm’s Toq smartwatch will be available December 2nd for $349

Another smartwatch is almost available — this time from Qualcomm Connected Experiences, a subsidiary from the chipmaker, Qualcomm. Toq — pronounced ‘talk’ — has been given a release date of December 2nd for $349.99 (USD) directly from Qualcomm’s website.

This smartwatch, like many others, allows you to read your emails, view texts messages, accept/reject calls, receive notifications and alerts. The Toq has its low-power Mirasol display, “always-on experience with multiple days of battery life and visibility even in bright sunlight.” You’ll be able to connect the Toq with any Android device running OS 4.0.3, but is “4.3 Jelly Bean preferred.”

The Toq will go wrist-to-wrist with other smartwatches, namely Samsung’s Galaxy Gear, Sony’s Smarwatch 2 and Pebble.
