After much teasing Rogers has officially opened up the ability pre-order the Android-powered Samsung Galaxy S Captivate. They state on their website this is open until Saturday, October 16th so you can bank on this being the official launch date being around this date. The 3-year contract price is $149.99 with a $45 monthly voice and data plan. If you do pre-order they are throwing in a Bluetooth headset. In addition, you’ll also be entered into a draw to win a “Samsung prize pack” that includes a 55″ LED TV, Home theatre package and Digital DSL Camera.
UPDATE: We just got an e-mail from Rogers stating that they “We’re making tweaks to the site and it hasn’t officially launched it yet. Should have an update for you in the next day or so.”
