Public Mobile will be launching their new network soon… they will offer Canadians in Ontario and Quebec a $40 monthly flat rate unlimited talk and text plan.
Ever since Public Mobile bought their spectrum there has been much talk/controversy if the “G band” spectrum they purchased would actually work and be reliable (nobody has every used it or wanted this before). Public Mobile CEO Alek Krstajic has stated many times over the past few months that “spectrum is spectrum” and he’s found a way to make it work.
They will be launching several devices, one they have announced is the ZTE C78. Today they have put a video online that goes into detail of how their network will operate. On their blog they write “Meet Brian. He’s been working in this industry for over 20 years and he knows his mobile phone technology. Who better to explain how antennas and mobile phone signals work than him? You’ll also get to check out the view from our rooftop.”
