The Pixel Watch series is getting its November update, but unfortunately, Watch users won’t see another update until March 2025.
With today’s update, Pixel Watch 1 and 2 users will receive their Wear OS 5 upgrade starting today. The rollout will continue in phases over the next few weeks.
Users will see a notification once the software update is available. The update includes:
Pixel Watch 3: Security Updates and Bug Fixes
Pixel Watch 1 & Pixel Watch 2: The software update includes an upgrade to Wear OS 5, including new features, numerous bug fixes, and performance updates. Play Store updates for improved camera controls, and Pixel Recorder are also available.
It’s strange that users won’t get another update until March of next year. Google is typically pretty on point with its updates, so waiting that long is pretty unusual. It’s likely that the March update will come with added features and a lot of security fixes.
