The BlackBerry PlayBook hasn’t gotten a lot of love in the media lately. With the Surface and various iPads being released, it’s sometimes hard to remember that RIM has a tablet in play, and is still receiving updates. Earlier this month it got a sizeable upgrade to version 2.1, and now the company has released its first patch.
While there’s no changelog, the version 2.1.0.1088 is 79MB, so there must be a bunch of changes to the OS, even if they’re just bug fixes. If you are a PlayBook user, get updating; if you haven’t used yours in a while, dust off that screen, you’ve got some reacquainting to do!
