Cellphone ban while driving arrives in PEI

Prince Edward Island now joins Newfoundland & Labrador, Quebec, Nova Scotia Ontario, Saskatchewan and British Columbia to ban cellphone use while driving. Similar to other provinces they will start issuing warnings if you’re caught talking/texting/surfing the web and using your GPS device while driving… then over time police will ticket you to the tune of $250 to $400 (plus three demerit points).

Looks like we are almost a full deck with cellphone bans across our Canada… Alberta is next up with a Sprint 2010 target.
