Telus has announced additional enhancements to its Telus Rewards program, and the program has also received award recognition.

Essentially, every Telus Rewards member gains access to an expanded suite of health, travel, entertainment, and lifestyle perks worth more than $400 in annual value. The company also gained three first-place awards at the Loyalty360 awards, which recognize customer loyalty programs.

The telecom giant earned a first-place tie with PetSmart for the Corporate Social Responsibility and Loyalty category, first in the Customer Loyalty Strategy category, and another first-place tie with Cava in the 360-Degree Brand category.

Shifting to the expanded benefits, here is what is now available to all members:

  • Complimentary access to a virtual counselling session through Telus Health MyCare (valued at up to $120), plus a complimentary veterinary consultation through Telus Health MyPet (a $40 annual value)
  • New partnerships with Skip and Turo that include a complimentary one-year Skip+ membership, unlocking $0 delivery fees on eligible orders, member-exclusive offers, and “hundreds in potential savings.” Alongside this is a one-time $50 Turo car rental credit.

Now, this isn’t the first time I’ve written about Telus’ customer loyalty. At the end of March, the company launched a program dedicated to helping Ontarians slash energy costs, and about a week ago, Telus started texting some of its customers a free 50GB of data, which would remain on their account until the end of the plan.
