Google’s Gemini Spark is a personal AI agent, but not for Canadians

Gemini Spark can run in the background and complete tasks for users

The new Gemini Spark is designed to be your personal AI agent that uses the new Gemini 3.5 Flash model. It runs in the background, trying to help you navigate your digital life.

Gemini Spark is first launching in Beta to Google AI Ultra subscribers in the U.S. next week. Additionally, Spark works with Workspace tools like Gmail, Docs, Slides, and more. It works in the background even when you close your laptop or lock your handset.

Gemini Spark can set recurring tasks or triggers, such as organizing monthly credit card statements and flagging hidden fees. You can teach it new skills and ask it to check your inbox for updates for your kids’ school, then summarize all those details and send it to your partner. You can also get it to create notes across email and chats and have it create a Google Doc.

Google is rolling out Gemini Spark to trusted testers this week and plans to roll it out as a Beta for the U.S. Google AI subscribers next week.

Further, the Google AI Ultra plan will cost US$100 (about C$137.52) per month. MobileSyrup will add Canadian pricing when it becomes available.
