Public Mobile offering select customers $45/100GB if they switch to Telus

Are you ready to make the switch?

Public Mobile is offering a new promotion to select customers via text, according to a recent Reddit post.

The promotion requires customers to switch to Telus, offering 100GB of data for $45 per month, with no long-term commitment. The price includes the $10 pre-authorized payment discount.

Further, the text you receive also includes a promo code.

Public Mobile offers $50/80GB, which is the closest option they have to this deal. Whereas Telus offers $65/100GB, in comparison.

There are no details on whether this is a US-Mexico plan, but without it stating that, I suspect that it’s just a Canada-only plan.

If you didn’t receive the text message, you can always check your account to see if it’s available or reach out to Public Mobile.

While $45/100GB isn’t a bad plan, a lot of people in the Reddit post are commenting that they were able to get better deals with recent Public Mobile flash deals. On a similar note, if you’re not in the market for a phone, you can grab a $40/100GB CAN/US/MEX plan from Freedom Mobile right now — typically the plan costs $49, but you save $9/mo if you bring your own phone.
