A Bell spokesperson has confirmed the Redditors ‘ findings:

Bell Fibe TV customers can now enjoy live programming in 4K on Apple TV, with 4K Video on Demand coming later this year. Today, Fibe TV is also available in 4K on several other platforms, including Amazon Fire TV, Android/ Google TV, Roku, Samsung, and LG.

The Bell Fibe app is now showing ‘Ultimate (up to 4K)’ streaming for some users. A Redditor has posted an image on the social news aggregation site, showcasing the new streaming quality.

My Apple TV 4K isn’t showing this update, but it’s possible the feature is rolling out to customers over a period of time. It’s also possible that 4K streaming is only available for those subscribed to the Fibe TV service, whereas we only have the app on our Apple TV.

The Reddit commenters have also mentioned that the only channels that can access 4K content are Sportsnet and TSN, and that it only works with certain sports games, such as Blue Jays and Leafs home games.

More comments further down indicate that the Fibe TV app on LGs, which was added December 11, 2025, also has access to 4K.

Update: January 16, 2026: With a statement from Bell.
