Google’s own Chromebook, the Pixelbook, is on sale for $999 CAD on the Canadian Google Store. The Pixelbook is regularly priced at $1,299.
Google quietly started the sale on June 1st, 2018, and it’s only on until June 7th at 11:59pm PT (June 8th at 2:59am ET). The offer is not available in Quebec.
The offer is only available for the lowest model Pixelbook that includes an Intel Core i5 processor, 8GB of RAM and 128GB of SSD storage.
Google’s Pixelbook features a 12.3-inch 2,400 x 1,600 pixel resolution display. It uses the Chrome OS operating system and features dual speakers.
While Chromebooks have their faults, like not being able to easily download Windows or Mac desktop apps, the Pixelbook does have full access to Google Assistant and Google search.
