This comes after ABC cancelled the series due to Roseanne Barr, the show’s star actress, making a prejudice comment about Obama aide, Valerie Jarrett.
Barr has since express remorse for actions and tweeted out an apology to the country.
I apologize to Valerie Jarrett and to all Americans. I am truly sorry for making a bad joke about her politics and her looks. I should have known better. Forgive me-my joke was in bad taste.

However, that didn’t stop Channing Dungey, the president of ABC Entertainment, from cancelling the show within 12 hours of the actress’ comments.
From Channing Dungey, President of ABC Entertainment: "Roseanne's Twitter statement is abhorrent, repugnant and inconsistent with our values, and we have decided to cancel her show."

Roseanne is a family sitcom series that was recently revived after a 21-year hiatus. Barr’s actions caused the cancellation after only a single season since the television show’s revival.
