Google updates Android Auto to include full contact list

Google is finally starting to add some features to Android Auto

Google has rolled out yet another much-desired Android Auto update: users can now see all their contacts when using the in-car platform.

The app is still a very pared down experience compared to using Android on a phone, showing only what users need to help them stay focused on driving.

In some instances, the lack of on-screen information makes things more difficult, but with this update it looks like Google is trying to change that.

To access the contact list users have to open the phone app, then inside via the top left menu button is the full contact list.

When the car is stopped users can browse all their contacts, but when the car is in motion users are locked to just a few scrolls. When the app locks it displays information similarly to how the music queue works in Google Play Music.

Have you received the update? Let us know your thoughts in the comments.
