Motorola Canada announced today that its second-generation Moto 360 smartwatch will be available in Canada on October 28th, starting at $379.
Available at Best Buy, Telus, and the Google Store, Motorola plans to make three models available: a 46mm men’s model; a 42mm men’s model; and a 42mm women’s model. All three of them come with different strap options and sizes.
Specifically, the 42mm men’s version will be available in a black case with a black leather strap, and a silver case with a cognac leather strap, both for $379.99. The 46mm men’s model with be available in the same silver case with cognac strap for $429.99, along with a $499.99 black case with matching black stainless steel strap.
The women’s model will be available in two versions, too: a blush gold case with sand-coloured band, for $399; and a silver case with stainless steel strap for $429.99.
All of the above models are available for pre-order at Best Buy now. Telus will offer three SKUs: the 42mm men’s black case with black leather strap; 42mm women’s rose gold case with sand strap; and 46mm men’s silver case with cognac band. The Google Store will offer just the two former, without the option for a larger 46mm band.
The Moto 360 2015 features a higher-resolution display, improved internal specs, and a more attractive design with easier band replacement. It runs Android Wear, along with a number of unique, customizable watch faces.
