Kids Help Phone and Bell receive “Connected to the Community” award

Kids Help Phone and partner Bell have received the Canadian Wireless Telecommunications Association’s “Connected to the Community” award. This award recognizes outstanding organizations that have partnered with Canada’s wireless industry to improve the lives of Canadians.

Lesley Sims, Ontario Regional Director for Kids Help Phone said “Kids Help Phone is thrilled to be honoured by the CWTA for our work to maximize access to our services by young people. Working closely with Bell to ensure we offer the latest mobile and online capabilities has helped improve the lives of many young and vulnerable kids in Canada.”

Wade Oosterman, President of Bell Mobility stated “As a founding partner of Kids Help Phone, Bell supports the national organization’s continued evolution in the ways it responds to today’s technology-savvy and wireless-oriented youth – including making all Bell Mobility calls to Kids Help Phone free and anonymous.”
