Virgin Mobile launches Holiday Campaign

“Despite what Santa says, it doesn’t really matter to us whether you’re naughty or nice because we think everyone deserves a Virgin Mobile.” This is the tagline for the current Virgin Mobile holiday initiative.

Promoting both the Motorola KRZR and the Samsung M510 mobile multimedia phones the spot shows people wearing either angel halos or devil horns and when they receive the greatest gift of all – a Virgin Mobile phone – the halo or horns disappear.

The campaign will run until the end of December and includes TV, direct mail and outdoor advertising. Virgin Mobile CMO, Nathan Rosenberg, told MiC:“Somewhere between 30 and 40% of activations in the mobile industry are done at this time of year, so it’s really important”.
