Clicks has sent out an update to customers who are awaiting its upcoming phone.
The update was a roadmap for the remainder of 2026, with expected dates for working test units, production and shipment to buyers who preordered the device.
Promoted as one of the newest players in using old tech to streamline productivity, Clicks Communicator takes the physical keyboards of yesterday’s BlackBerry, packaging it into a device that doesn’t play around and allows its users to follow suit.
That isn’t to say the phone lacks features, as the phone boasts a 4000 mAh silicon-carbon battery, a 50 MP rear/24 MP front camera, as well as 256GB onboard, upgradeable to 2 TB, storage capacity. It’s all packaged in a lightweight, tiny form factor that is smaller than most smartphones on the market.
Coming in Smoke (white), Onyx (grey) and Clover (green), the phone has multiple simple colours to pick from depending on the buyers preference. Paired with 10 interchangeable back covers, the phone has 30 different colour combination to choose from.
The Communicator is available for preorder in over 65 countries, including Canada. Pre-order reservations are listed for C$282.37 and can be paid in full for C$752.43. Ordering in full comes with an additional back cover, which is approximately a US$50 (C$68.40) value.
