Should've skipped it

Skip (formerly known as Skip the Dishes) has partnered with Loblaws to bring grocery delivery onto its platform.

The partnership will now allow Canadians to have grocery items delivered on the Skip service from 13 participating Loblaws banners, like No Frills, Loblaws, Real Canadian Superstore, Maxi, and Your Independent Grocer.

To order, all you have to do is open the Skip app, tap on grocery, and you will find a range of supermarkets to order from. From there, you can browse by category or search for what you need, add it to your cart, check out, and have everything delivered to your door.

Skip is also offering a discount to celebrate the integration of Loblaw brands onto the platform, allowing customers to enjoy 30 per cent off their first three grocery orders of $45 or more (up to $15 off) using the code SHOP30. The discount runs from now until May 31.

To add some context, this isn’t the only grocery chain that the delivery service has partnered with in recent moves to break into the grocery store market. Last year, Skip partnered with Walmart and the Canadian chain Shoppers Drug Mart in the month before.
