Looks like both of the famous Canadian Justins have had stuff going on this week. While news of Justin Trudeau and Katy Perry being official has hit the web, we’re also learning that pop star Justin Bieber had some complaints about his iPhone.
In a post on X/Twitter, Bieber complained that dictation and voice notes will interrupt his music when he’s sending a message.
“If I hit this dictation button after sending a text and it beeps and stops my music one more time, I’m gonna find everyone at [Apple] and put them in a rear naked choke hold,” Bieber wrote. For those wondering, a rear naked choke hold is a Brazilian jiu-jitsu grappling move often seen in mixed martial arts.

I’m gonna find everyone at apple and put them in a rear naked choke hold
Even if I turn off dictation I somehow hit the voice note thing

Bieber says that he turned off dictation, and he’s still having issues, and complains that the ‘send’ button shouldn’t have multiple functions.
This post has been re-shared more than 14,000 times, liked by more than 126,000 users and more. Even the co-founder of Airbnb chimed in. And with Apple’s UI chief Alan Dye leaving the Cupertino tech giant for Meta, maybe Bieber will get his wish.
