Backbone launches Death Stranding 2: On The Beach limited edition controller

Celebrating the launch of Death Stranding 2: On The Beach, Backbone is announcing the launch of the official Backbone One – Death Stranding 2 Limited Edition controller, officially licensed by PlayStation.

Backbone worked with Kojima Productions to translate the game’s themes into the controller, such as the colours, typography, and iconography. Additionally, the controller offers an aluminum D-pad and buttons inspired by the design of the Backbone One PlayStation Edition.

Each controller comes in a rugged hard case made only for these limited edition gamepads. Inside the case, the controller will have a quick start guide and the collector tag.

The device works with both Android and iOS, letting you use apps like PS Remote Play, Steam Link and Apple Arcade. You can also use Backbone controllers with a PC via a wired connection in a pinch.

The Backbone One – Death Stranding Limited Edition launches on November 6 and is available on Backbone’s website and Best Buy. The controller costs US$159 which is roughly C$222 .
